Emmy Rossum was up for the role of the twins in The Parent Trip and she was so close! SO close!!
But it went to little redheaded Lindsay Lohan instead!
Emmy could have been that new Hollywood “it” girl, but does she regret losing that role?

I was 12, but I really wanted the role. Not at all. Lindsay beat me out of the role. I’m having the time of my life and currently working on Shameless.

And childhood stars have to deal with SO much anyways. It was almost a gift in disguise, no??
