Prince Harry Takes On British Tabloids | October 1, 2019In a surprising move, Prince Harry declared a lawsuit against the British tabloids over "bullying" Meghan Markle.
Comparing the UK press’ alleged mistreatment of his wife to his late mother Princess Diana — who died in 1997 when her car crashed into a Paris tunnel while the princess was trying to evade the press.
Archie's dad explained in his message, his "deepest fear is history repeating itself" if the media won’t stop harping on the Duchess of Sussex. He wrote:
"I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person. I lost my mother and now I watch my wife falling victim to the same powerful forces."
Additionally, it was divulged the "unlawful" leaking of the Duchess’ letters to her father Thomas Markle was the catalyst for his legal proceedings against the corporation Associated Newspapers — and these legal proceedings have "been many months in the making."
