Eric Trump Thinks Ellen DeGeneres Is Part Of The 'Deep State' Conspiracy & Twitter Responds Appropriately

Twitter is making Eric Trump suspicious, you guys.
Donald Trump‘s special boy took to the social media site to point out the red flags he saw in his “Who to follow” suggestions, which were apparently much less Breitbart-y than he was used to.
In the first son’s latest suggestions round-up on Tuesday, it was advised he follow the accounts of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Ellen DeGeneres.

Eric was understandably shocked to see these accounts being suggested to him, we guess since none are white nationalists or elephant poachers. There was only one logical explanation: all three — including the Ellen host — are part of the “Deep State”!
He tweeted:

Shocking…ly stupid.
For those who don’t know, alt-right conspiracy theorists have been pushing the “Deep State” theory since 2014, claiming a secret entity is controlling our elected government behind the scenes without consent of the governed. Which is weird, because that’s kind of how we feel about the Trump administration

The term was coined by former Republican U.S. congressional aide Mike Lofgren, who described the Deep State as “a hybrid association of elements of government and parts of top-level finance and industry.”
That said, Twitter users found it extra hilarious that Eric thinks Ellen is a part of this shadowy government, let alone two high profile politicians he frequently tweets about!
