Etta James Is Once Again Breathing On Her Own!

Wow! We’re very happy to hear this!
Etta James is reportedly breathing on her own again, and will be taken off the respirator she’s been on since December 21st and moved out of the ICU!
According to the icon’s manager, Lupe De Leon:

“The hospital is preparing Etta for release from ICU to a step down unit. She is stable and breathing on her own. Her blood pressure is normal.”

Phew!
We know that she’s considered terminally ill, but obviously, she’s quite the fighter!
Here’s hoping that she’s being kept as comfortable as possible.
