Eva Mendes is getting honest about the work she’s had done — some of which she regrets!
The Hitch star turned 50 this year, and while she’s undeniably drop-dead gorgeous, she isn’t a stranger to a few cosmetic tweaks here and there — so long as they’re “safe”! While chatting with the Sunday Times over the weekend, the mom of two told the outlet about turning 50:
“It was totally fine. It’s just that number sounds crazy. I feel like a girl inside and I’m like, oh my God, I’m not a girl any more.”
Ha!
Over the years she has done some things to make herself feel younger or prettier. Just some “little treatments” here and there — only things that were reversible! She revealed to the outlet:
“I’m not afraid to try things that are safe, because most of these little treatments, let’s say, are reversible. If you get Botox, it goes away if you don’t like it.”
Makes sense! It’s experimental but also prudent!

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Botox generally lasts between three and six months before its effects begin to wear off. And unlike with filler, Botox isn’t intended to add volume to your face. It works by stunting a targeted muscle from contracting and creating or deeping wrinkles. So in the vast world of plastic surgery, that’s not much… There have been tweaks in the past that Eva “regretted” getting — so she was smart not to get anything permanent! She told the outlet:
“There have been times where I’ve regretted something … and then you just wait it out.”
She didn’t specify what the procedures were she didn’t care for, but we guess she’s glad they wore off! Ha!
Lately, though, she’s been zeroing in on her jaw, which she swears is getting “funky.” (Huh??) Anyway, she’s now considering getting laser treatments to treat that, whatever it means. But surely the best treatment of all is the love she receives from Ryan Gosling — and the googly eyes! She told the outlet he still looks at her like that — and it really makes her feel “so f**king sexy.”
