Despite her denial, it appears as though Lindsay Lohan or a member of her team is most likely behind the cupcake order from Magnolia Bakery to the El Lay County Morgue!
How do you know, you may ask? Because we called and asked to pick them up on her behalf!
What can we say? We didn’t want to see delicious cupcakes go to waste! Ha!
Anywho, upon being directed to management, it was clear that SOMEONE on the actress’ team was behind the order, as they knew immediately who were asking for by only using the first name “Lindsay,” understood the information regarding the incident, and confirmed that we would need to bring the credit card used on the bill to successfully retrieve them!
Yes. Retrieve them. Because unlike her denial that she was sending the morgue goodies, they were shipped there – on her behalf!
Tisk, tisk! Add this to her ever-growing pile of lies!
UPDATE:
Lindsay has come clean!
According to her representative, Steve Honig:
“Reports that Lindsay had lunches brought in for the other volunteers are completely accurate despite any claims to the contrary. Additionally, Lindsay ordered cupcakes for the staff and volunteers. When they were delivered, morgue supervisors would not let them into the building. It is unfortunate that Lindsay’s well-intentioned actions were not taken in the spirit in which she intended; to say she was sorry for yesterday’s misunderstanding.”
Well, we respect her for coming clean eventually, but…
WHY DID SHE EVEN LIE TO BEGIN WITH?!
And though it is a lovely gesture, we once again have to say – treats aren’t enough to show that you’re sorry. Hard work, punctuality, and actually showing that you are making a SINCERE effort to make up for your mistakes will!
