Natalia Kills and her husband Willy Moon weren’t just fired for their brutal slam of a contestant on X Factor New Zealand — they were publicly lambasted!
But are they being ridden out of town on a rail for the right reason?

According to an inside source, it wasn’t even Natalia and Willy’s idea to get mean — it was the producers of X Factor!
It seems they wanted the full-on Simon Cowell claw-baring — and the ratings it drew — from the couple! Our source said:
“It’s crazy because sometimes TV producers plan drama for ratings and it totally backfired! So many crew peoples jobs at stake!”
Sounds pretty similar to what Natalia and Willy both said in their recent apologies — that they were “encouraged to be outspoken.”
But were they speaking their true opinions? Or just being cruel for the cameras?
According to our source, the couple was asked to go even further than what got them fired, but they refused the most “inappropriate” of it.
We can’t imagine how mean what they DIDN’T say might have been!
So were Natalia and Willy being real? Or playing along?
