Parenting problems?
Don’t worry! Mommy expert Amy Malin is here to help solve your child rearing dilemmas.
Here’s this weeks question Perezitos Amy:

“I’m so stressed out because between working full time and raising my daughter, there aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done. I feel totally overwhelmed..any suggestions?”

Oh, that sounds like something the full-time event planner AND mommy can relate to! Here’s what Amy has to say:

“I can totally relate sister and that is why I have mastered the art of being a multi-tasking Mommy so I can maximize how much I get done each day.
If you’re breastfeeding and using a hands free pump, then I recommend always do something else at the same time like watch the TV show you recorded or read that book you started 4 months ago and never got around to finishing. I have been on conference calls while I’m pumping, chatted with friends and even answered emails on my phone.
If your lil cutie always wants to be held but that leaves you without hands to do anything else, then a baby carrier is going to be your new best friend. Your baby can be safely snuggling close to your heart, (which they love because it mimics being in the womb and makes them feel safe) and you now have free hands to cook dinner, do laundry or walk your dog. I personally love my BabyBjorn Baby Carrier in Original Organic (Check it out HERE) because it is comfortable for me and my son and it is eco-friendly. To me, it is always in style to be kind to the planet. 🙂
I make sure to never watch TV without doing something else at the same time. I either pump during my shows, or I’m exercising during them. Staying healthy and in shape is crucial. Saying you don’t have time is not an excuse, so just incorporate even a few minutes a day of stretching and exercising during your TV time and you’ll reap the benefits. I have found that these simple strategies help me to get so much more accomplished each day.”

Great advice!
Don’t cut your TV time, make it productive. We love that!
