Remember that disturbing video we posted a while back that a customer caught in a McDonald’s?
You know, the one where two irate women customers jumped the counter and tried attacking the worker behind it, forcing him to protect himself with whatever he could find, resulting in the women being badly injured? The one where that worker had just spent 11 years in jail for manslaughter?
Well, a jury refused to indict him because he was acting in self defense — and he makes no apologies for what happened.
Now he plans on suing McDonald’s for not training him to handle a situation like that, and for putting him and other workers in danger with a lack of a security guard — as that franchise location is prone to violence to begin with:
“I just feel elated. I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót out there looking for trouble. My life was in danger. Females do murder men. . . . I displayed a lot of patience. I was in fear for my life. I wasn├óΓé¼Γäót trained to handle that kind of situation. I think I was patient. I just grabbed that up and I started swinging it. I had no other option to defend myself. I do plan on bringing a civil suit against McDonald├óΓé¼Γäós for putting me in danger. If a security guard would have been there, this wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót have happened. I would have never gone to work. I├óΓé¼Γäóm not a monster. I├óΓé¼Γäóm a people person. I hope we do learn something from this. You can├óΓé¼Γäót just go around bullying people and then spitting on someone.├óΓé¼┬¥
We’re all for protecting yourself, but the scope and violent severity in which you CONTINUED to pummel those women — it makes us sick. We would be on your side if it weren’t for how it looked like you lost control.
Hopefully nothing like this happens again.
