After making it through Thanksgiving with Gwyneth Paltrow, Dakota Johnson has proven herself worthy of a life with Chris Martin.
So, we’re not at all surprised to hear the two will be “engaged soon,” nearly a year after going public with their relationship!

An insider dished to Us Weekly:
“They’ll be engaged soon. Chris is head over heels.”
And you thought they were moving too slow.
The Coldplay frontman has been ready to lock down the Suspiria star down for quite some time, but was apparently waiting for his ex to tie the knot with Brad Falchuk before making plans to bring another member into the growing Martin-Paltrow brood.
The source added:
“He wanted to make sure the kids didn’t have too much change all at once. He’s a great dad.”
Not to mention, a pretty solid ex-husband.
Way to not steal Gwynny’s wedding thunder, Chris. A happy marriage is your reward!
