The Reverend provided spiritual counsel to countless U.S. presidents and had a friendly relationship with Queen Elizabeth II. It’s said he reached more than 200 million people thanks to his charismatic appearances on the radio and television. Donald Trump has since addressed the influential evangelist’s passing on Twitter:
The GREAT Billy Graham is dead. There was nobody like him! He will be missed by Christians and all religions. A very special man.

Graham is survived by five children — including Reverend William Franklin III, Reverend Nelson Graham, Virginia Tchividjian, Anne Graham Lotz, and Ruth Graham McIntyre — and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Our thoughts are with Billy’s loved ones during this time.
