Nice try.
A Charlotte Family tried to fly to Chicago for the holidays but got the boot when they tried to sneak a few extra children on the plane.
Kathy and Jason Fickes purchased three tickets from US Airways; one each for the adults and another for their 3 year old.
They also have a 8 month old and 20 month old twins. Six does NOT equal three.
They managed to get pass security with only three tickets and it took a flight attendant to point out the obvious math problem.
The attendant told the family a child needed to be moved and a passenger behind the Fickes offered to baby sit.
Next, a passenger in first class offered to buy them an extra ticket. Still no dice.
After 40 to 50 minutes, the Fickes were given their walking papers.
Kathy Fickes says they were discriminated against for having too many kids.
Yeah, you have too many kids, that’s the whole point!
US Airways states instructions on young children on their website which the Fickes claim they didn’t see.
Note to readers: Read the instructions before boarding a flight.
