Fans Are FUMING After Lorde Admitted She Watched Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee's Stolen Sex Tape: 'Weird & Gross'

Lorde is facing some intense backlash after calling Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee‘s infamous stolen sex tape “beautiful”.

In case you didn’t hear, the New Zealander is gearing up to release her newest album Virgin, and in the midst of all the album promo, she admitted to watching Pam and Tommy’s sex tape. While speaking to Rolling Stone for her cover story, the Royals singer said:

“I found it to be so beautiful. And maybe it’s f**ked up that I watched it, but I saw two people that were so in love with each other, and there was this purity. They were jumping off this big boat … They were like children.”

Lorde went on to add:

They were so free. And I just was like, ‘Whoa. Being this free comes with danger’.”

Uh…

Yeah, that’s a LOT. Especially when you take into account the sex tape was the one that was STOLEN and sold, before being released without consent. We mean, poor Pam has come out on multiple occasions talking about how it hurt her deeply. In fact, when the Pam & Tommy miniseries dropped on Hulu in 2022, the Baywatch alum later said in her documentary that it made her “sick”:

“I blocked that stolen tape out of my life in order to survive, and now that it’s all coming up again, I feel sick.”

So sad… and this is exactly why fans are SO mad with Lorde! Why bring it up again? During an album promo?!

On X (Twitter), social media users called out the What Was That singer for her comments:

“I’m telling you all this new trend of edgy white girls saying whatever to seem “different” is getting out of hand. Lorde calling Pamela Anderson’s revenge porn with her physically abusive ex Tommy Lee “beautiful” is just flat out vile and indefensible.”
