Farrah Fawcett is really trying her hardest to do everything she can to beat her illness!
The Charlie’s Angel alum was diagnosed with anal cancer back in 2006, which has since spread to her liver.
Fawcett’s pal, Alana Stewart, helped produces the documentary, airing on NBC this Friday, about Fawcett’s fight with cancer. Stewart says: “I know that Farrah hasn’t given up.” And Fawcett’s longtime love, Ryan O’Neal, feels the same way.
He says that fans will enjoy the very personal documentary. Adding that “They’ll think they made the right choice years ago when they fell for her. She’s a doll. She’s a beauty inside and out.”
O’Neal also reveals about Farrah: “She’s heavily medicated. We’re going to take some of these medications down so she’s lucid and sharp to watch herself. I think she’ll take great pride in this.”
Ryan says that the doc started off as a personal record to show her “success story” for family viewing. But, “somewhere along the line she got so many letters thanking her for her battle and courage and strength. She started to feel there must be a reason she got cancer. If she had cancer, maybe it was her responsibility to do something for others. That’s how the film evolved. Her big message to people is don’t give up, no matter what they say to you, keep fighting.”
Keep fighting!
