A while back, rumors started up that Fergie was leaving the Black Eyed Peas. Now, not only is she staying with the group, but she’s not pursuing another solo album to focus on BEP.
Here’s what she had to say when asked about plans to go solo again:
“Definitely, in my lifetime, [but] not in the near future, no.”
And here’s Fergie on projects she has in the works:
“We have The Beginning, which is coming out now, so I’m all about Black Eyed Peas right now… and Slash, my inner rock chick coming out in that world. I’ve got my footwear that I’m concentrating on; that’s a big [project].”
Looks like Fergie Ferg is keeping plenty busy. We’re not absolutely in love with BEP’s new song “The Time (Dirty Bit),” but we’re still looking forward to the new album.
Keep up the good work, Ferg! You’ve got plenty of time to release another solo album somewhere down the line.
