Fifth Grade Teacher Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Student She Said Was 'One Of Her Favorites' In Classroom Closet

A fifth grade teacher has been arrested and charged following the alleged sexual assault of one of her students.

The 46-year-old’s former student is now 20, and he recently reported the alleged assault. He claimed that it took place a decade ago — when he was just 10 years old — and the details behind this are absolutely disturbing.

The alleged abuse took place at Lewis Elementary School back in the 2016-2017 school year, when Cecilia Mueller was teaching a fifth grade class. The accuser says he was branded “one of her favorites” in the class, and she had a special table in the room for her favorite pupils. Sadly, this is where things would take a disgusting turn.

Per the accuser, Mueller allegedly talked inappropriately with her “favorites”, going as far as to ask them about their personal lives and crushes. Local police say in the report that she singled out some of her students to spend time with them on her lunch breaks, showing them explicit music videos and even porn on one occasion. Horrible!

Authorities allege she would also play Truth or Dare with some of her pupils, daring them to kiss each other in front of her. She also allegedly warned her students to not tell anyone about these actions, or else she’d get in big trouble. The typical predator move. So, so terrible.

The boy who sounded alarms on this when he reported his experience claimed on one occasion Mueller’s own child caught them kissing in her classroom. The accuser alleged Mueller told him her child “wouldn’t remember” the incident because they were too young.

The alleged victim claimed this was far from a one time occurrence. He said in his report that sexual assault would happen frequently in the classroom closet, and he often was the one chosen to stay behind during lunch with her. He claimed she also texted him all the time, with the affidavit stating she sent him more than 300 messages and photos over the course of the alleged abuse.

The poor accuser said the assaults eventually stopped when he graduated fifth grade — but she allegedly told him to contact her when he turned 18!! WTF!

Officials said Mueller taught at Lewis Elementary School from 2007 to 2019. In 2019, she moved to Henderson Elementary School. The school district said she’s been placed on leave and the investigation is still ongoing.

She was arrested this week and charged with continuous sexual assault of a child. You can see her mugshot (below):

The San Antonio Police Department believe this alleged victim is far from the only one, though, and are urging any others to come forward with information.

Such a horrific story. We hope the alleged victims get the justice they deserve.
