Especially on the far side of The Pond, where it has actually become one of the best selling novels in British history!
EL James — or, as we like to call her, Chaucer 2.0 — sold over 200k copies of Grey in the UK last week!!
That’s just cray and crumpets!!
By the end of the month, Brits will have purchased over a million copies!!
Reason number 4,762 why we’re happy the Nazis no longer control most of Europe: It would take them decades to burn all those erotic novels — we’re pretty sure all that’s smoke is bad for the environment!!
U.S. sales figures aren’t too shabby, either. Since its release, the trilogy sold over 15 million copies at home and in Canada.
Wowzers!!
At this rate, EL James could be richer than Christian Grey in just a few months!
Hmmm. A gal can buy a TON of silk ties with that kind of cash!!
