Terry Gilliam can finally make his movie – and it only took nine years.
The mastermind behind the last Heath Ledger flick, is now ready to continue work on his Don Quixote film: a project that has suffered so many setbacks, a documentary was made to explain why the actual film wasn’t made.
Gilliam has brought on Oscar winner Jeremy Thomas to produce and screenwriter Tony Grisoni to help him reinvent the legend into the modern era. The story centers around a filmmaker who becomes intrigued with Quixote’s adventures and quest for his lady love and ultimately becomes his sidekick Sanco Panza.
The flick is set to start filming in spring.
It was all about patience and perseverance dude!
