James Franco as Jason Bourne?

Do we think James Franco is hardcore enough to play Jason Bourne?

In Franco’s new movie 127 Hours, he cuts his own arm off, so yeah…we think he’ll be fine.

According to a source at the after-party for Franco’s new movie, Bourne screenwriter Tony Gilroy “made a beeline for Franco, asking to be introduced to him.”

Another source close to Gilroy said “He was just there to see the movie.”

Clearly, it’s just speculation at this point, but we’d be very curious to see how James Franco would do in the new Bourne movie.
