So listen to this….
A young acrobat who performs as part of a family act called The Flying Graysons is orphaned when a mobster sabotages the family trapeze, killing his parents in a horrible accident. Bruce Wayne comes along and takes the boy under his wing, and thus Robin is born.
Sound interesting?
The CW hopes so because Variety is reporting that the network plans on replacing Smallville with The Graysons should the Superman teen drama come to a conclusion this season. If Smallville stays, then the Robin prequel will serve as a companion piece.
The name of the spinoff show comes from Robin’s true identity – Dick “DJ” Grayson.
Smallville executive producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson, as well as Supernatural executive producer McG are slated to work on the new Warner Bros. TV endeavor.
The project demonstrates Warner Brothers’ continued support of the CW, which also hosts Gossip Girl and 90210 2.0.
Following in Smallville’s footsteps, The Graysons will revolve around DJ’s life as he deals with family, friends, and foes.
Are U going to tune in?
