Whoa! Well, that sure as hell puts an end to the season for a bit!
Last night, all nine contestants on the UK version of Big Brother were evacuated from their house due to some EXTREME flooding. It’s the first time in the show’s history that this sort of thing has ever happened
In what officials are calling a freak accident (otherwise known as a ratings ploy,) “exceptional weather conditions” caused water to put into the house from outside.
It’s called rain people. We’ve been dealing with it for awhile now!
The contestants were taken to a “holding area” within the Big Brother compound as a “safety measure”, while a rep for Channel 4 confirmed the news of the flooding. The rep told the press:
“I can confirm that after some flooding in the Big Brother house, all the housemates have been evacuated as a precautionary measure. They are currently put up in alternative accommodation while we are assessing the situation.”
Um, will they have television or internet in these “alternative accommodations,” because we think that defeats the purpose of the show! Clearly, they should still be under exile in some fashion!
