The news broke Friday that six Baltimore police officers would indeed be facing criminal charges for their part in the death of Freddie Gray.
Now President Barack Obama has made a statement on the importance of this decision.

The POTUS — and former lawyer — refused to give his legal opinion on the case but did say it was “absolutely vital that the truth comes out.”
