Rapper Confesses Murder Then Pleads NOT GUILTY!

G. Dep loves making music as much as he loves wasting New York City tax payers’ dollars.
The rapper behind the 2001 hit Special Delivery went to a police station in December of 2010 and confessed to the 1993 murder of 32-year-old John Henkel.
He revealed to the cops that he shot the man three times while trying to mug him. To back up his story, he was able to recall key details in the investigation such as the location of the murder and caliber of the gun he used.
Here’s is where this case gets a little cray.
Despite once saying, “I felt like it was something I had to do,” he is now pleading NOT GUILTY in the murder trial.
What!?
Apparently, the rapper didn’t know the victim had died as a result of the three bullets that entered his chest and isn’t too comfortable with serving 25 years to life in prison. Prosecutors offered him a deal for 15 years if he plead guilty, but apparently G. Dep thinks you don’t have to pay for your crimes after nearly two decades, so he’s decided to roll dice in court.
Sources suggest his only best defense is going to be to focus on his intense drug use in the years that led up to his surprise confession. Somehow, we doubt the jury will buy that.
We’re all about innocent until proven guilty, but a confession is a confession and this guy deserves to be held accountable for the crime he ADMITTED to committing.
