George Clooney has seen how this one ends — and he’s not down to have history repeat itself.
The 57-year-old actor spoke at a press panel this week while promoting his new Hulu series Catch-22, and somehow, the conversation veered away from the show and onto his friend, Meghan Markle.

Concerned for the Duchess’ health, pregnancy, and overall well-being — and obviously fed up by aggressive paparazzi going after her in the U.K. — Clooney didn’t hold back, saying to reporters (below):
“They’re just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she’s been pursued and vilified. She’s a woman who is seven months pregnant and she has been pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that Diana was and it’s history repeating itself. We’ve seen how that ends.”
Wow!
He is definitely not holding back…
And the Princess Diana reference — she, of course, tragically died in a horrific car crash while being chased by paparazzi in 1997 — was very purposeful.
