We have to say, we kind of agree with him. It’s a terrible invasion of privacy and we’re not sure why these calls are made available to the public.
A big topic of conversation on the red carpet last night at the SAG Awards was the hospitilaztion of Demi Moore. Many of her friends and former co-stars were at the show, including George Clooney, who didn’t hold back his distain about her 911 call being released over the Internet.
He shared his views with The Insider, saying:

“It’s always troubling when people you know and people who you care about end up going through a difficult time … I think it’s a stupid thing. I think it’s stupid for anyone, whether they’re celebrated or not, I don’t believe their 911 call should be broadcast around the world, but that’s my opinion. What’s happening and what people have to remember is that people are getting famous from Facebook and Twitter, so it’s not just about people here, it’s about everybody. There won’t be any version of privacy. So it’s going to be a tricky thing.”

It is tricky and is something that should be addressed.
When did everyone’s private lives, not just the famous, but such public knowledge? And how is that combatted? Obviously, celebrities are always going to be in the public eye, but should it be in this way. It doesn’t seem totally fair.
What do U think?
