Dun DUN dun dun DUN dun!
A tip o’ the hat helmet went to J.J. Abrams recently.
After J.J. accepted the supreme task of directing the new Star Wars film, franchise creator George Lucas wished him well, saying:
“I’ve consistently been impressed with J.J. as a filmmaker and storyteller. He’s an ideal choice to direct the new Star Wars film and the legacy couldn’t be in better hands.”
And just like that… the mighty lightsaber has been passed.
Anyone else envisioning George as Darth Vader here??
“Abrams… I am your — don’t screw this up, kid!”
