It’s time for today’s pop quiz:
What do Adolph Hitler, George Zimmerman, and former President George W. Bush have in common?
If you said, “each enjoys painting!” then you are RIGHT!!!
(Other acceptable answers include “each has a Y-chromosome” and “none of them stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.”)
It’s true, though – former president GWB is technically an artist!!!
We know this because he flaunted his impressive array of paint-colored canvases in front of Matt Lauer on Friday’s Today show!
Curious to see his take on V-lad Putin? The Dalai Lama? The skull of a Texas longhorn?
Ch-ch-check out the rest of his exhibit, The Art of Leadership: A President’s Personal Diplomacy…AFTER THE JUMP!!!
And Dubya does landscapes, too!
Ha! Regardless of how hard you think he worked while commanding our armies into multiple wars and leading our economy in the wrong direction, he spent nearly a decade doing it and, well, that’s something!
Whether you’re serving frozen yogurt or leading a nation off of a fiscal cliff so dramatic you’d think it was the ending to Thelma & Louise, eight years at any job is a long time and we can’t blame him for enjoying his retirement!
We’re glad you found a hobby, Mr. President! And we’re eternally grateful this is the extent of its impact on our life!
