With the 10th anniversary of 9/11 coming up, George W. Bush will be doing a television interview with the National Geographic Channel honoring the tragic event’s anniversary as well as opening up about the recent killing of Osama bin Laden.

The TV special, which took four months to negotiate, will include exclusive access to the former President. New York filmmaker Peter Schnall spoke with Bush, with whom he became very close to while working on an Air Force One special.

In the interview, Bush said he feels “grateful” that bin Laden is gone. He adds:

“I didn├óΓé¼Γäót├óΓé¼┬ª feel any great sense of happiness. Or jubilation. I felt a sense of closure. And I felt a sense of gratitude that justice had been done.”

This is definitely a TV interview that can’t be missed. The special George W. Bush: The 9/11 Interview premieres Aug. 28 on the National Geographic Channel.
