On August 12, the world lost a beautiful spirit.
Bachelor star Gia Allemand hung herself in her New Orleans apartment, hours after arguing with boyfriend Ryan Anderson, according to a police report.
Twenty-nine year old Gia was concerned over suspicions that her NBA boyfriend was cheating on her. As he dropped her off at her place, she told him she still loved him but he replied:
“I don’t love you anymore.”
Then, two hours later, Anderson went to Gia’s apartment after a concerned phone call from her mother. There he found her hanging, with a suicide note leaving all of her property to her mother.
Rushed to the hospital, Gia was pronounced dead two days later after she was taken off from life support. Anderson called her the most beautiful person he knew, inside and out.
Gia’s memorial service took place earlier this week, heartbreaking but celebratory of the life she lived.
This is such a sad story of loss and tragedy. Nobody should ever feel so unloved that they feel death is the only escape.
We sincerely hope Gia has found peace now.
