Tommy Hilfiger just dropped a major bomb about Gigi Hadid, who just so happens to be currently promoting their new Tommy x Gigi collab!
Speaking with Yahoo Style‘s Joe Zee, the New York native admitted the supermodel almost didn’t make the cut for his February 2015 New York Fashion Week show because a casting director didn’t think she was skinny enough!

That’s crazy!!
Tommy explained:
“Our casting director said, ├óΓé¼╦£She doesn’t really fit because you know she’s not quite as tall as the other girls, she’s not quite as thin. So they put a red, white, and blue poncho on her. It covered a lot of her body unfortunately, but it received millions of hits.”
Wow.
The 65-year-old definitely makes it clear he didn’t share the same opinion, yet they still dressed her in a poncho for the runway. Smh.
We wouldn’t blame Gigi for having any hurt feelings, but judging by their joint collection, there’s seemingly no bad blood!
