Gigi Hadid had the “sweetest” birthday while social distancing!
The supermodel kicked off her 25th year on Thursday with lowkey celebrations alongside boyfriend Zayn Malik, Bella Hadid, Yolanda Hadid, and a very special cake surprise.

Hadid wrote on Instagram alongside a series of photos from the day:
“Had the sweetest day celebrating my 25th birthday with my quarantine family, who made it so special for me, along with all the love I felt from all over the world! Thank you to everyone for the birthday messages, I carried you with me yesterday!! ?? I am grateful and lucky that my family and friends -near and far- are healthy and safe, and although I missed loved ones I wish I could have celebrated with, know that these times will make us even more grateful for togetherness to be had in the future !”
But it was actually another man who took the day to another level, Gigi revealed:
“I will never forget my 25th bday! +++The icing on the perfect quarantine bday was finding out my surprise everything-bagel-cake was made by the one and only Cake Boss @buddyvalastro who I have watched for over a decade. I CRIED REAL TEARS! BUDDY! This is a dream come true.”
It seems like Buddy Valastro really went above and beyond to make Gigi’s day special! So cute!!
She concluded:
“I can’t believe you made this cake for me while the bakery is closed. It means more to me than you know, and when we hopefully meet some day you will truly know that there almost isn’t an episode I’ve missed. 10/10 would be a Carlo’s intern whenever needed. ? Grateful, honored, your biggest fan. ?.”

As you’ll recall, confirmation of her typically private reconciliation with Zayn only came on Valentine’s Day when the supermodel shared a pic of the former One Direction member. At the time, an insider shared with E! News that the Hadid crew was happy to have Mr. Malik back in the picture:
“Everyone is happy for them and Yolanda and Bella have always loved Zayn. They all have always treated him like part of the family.”
After previously dating on and off for years, their most recent breakup went down in January 2019, and Miz Hadid went on to have a brief relationship with The Bachelorette‘s Tyler Cameron months later — but when that flame fizzled out, she found herself “back in touch” and “on good terms” with the Pillowtalk crooner just before the holidays.
