Oooo we’re hearing the Sound of the Underground rising up through the floors!!!
One of our FAVE British girly groups, Girls Aloud, has reunited in honor of the band’s 10th anniversary, and the ladies have reportedly recorded a brand new single AND are filming the music video as we type!
Girls Aloud formed back in November 2002 as a result of the UK show Popstars: The Rivals and is comprised of Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle.
One source close to the girls reveals:
“The girls recorded tracks with their long-time collaborators Xenomania as early as May this year. Some of them recorded their vocals separately, so they didn├óΓé¼Γäót actually see each other that much during the process… On Tuesday, all five were together to film the video for their big return song, which is due out next month.”
We heard rumor of a reunion earlier this year, and we hope hope hope there is still chance of a possible ‘comeback’ tour.
AND we hear Scissor Sister frontman Jake Shears would LOVE to work and twerk and h-h-honey with the girls, if ever allowed, which would be so unimaginably sick, we can’t even deal!!
SO souped to hear these new singles! If they are anywhere near as catchy as Biology, or any other of their mega hit tunes, we’re in for a sexy, girl-stuffed treat!
