Gisele Bündchen Reveals What A Day In Her Life Is Like Without Ex-Husband Tom Brady

Gisele Bündchen has a new daily routine. One, of course, that no longer includes her ex-husband Tom Brady.

It’s been nearly a year and a half now since the Brazilian model and the former NFL champ officially ended their marriage, but it doesn’t sound like Gisele’s quality of life has changed much. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal on Monday to promote her new cookbook, Nourish: Simple Recipes to Empower Your Body and Feed Your Soul, the 43-year-old gave fans a tour of what a day in her life looks like now as a single mom. She dished:

“When my kids are with me, they have so many activities. It’s difficult to manage my schedule and their schedule.”

Yeah, well, it certainly would be a LOT more challenging trying to balance all of that without the help of another parent under the same roof. Ya know?! Gisele shares son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with Tom — and of course, he also shares son Jack, 16, with ex Bridget Moynahan. But it sounds like the momma of two manages it all by remembering to prioritize herself, as well. She added:

“The most important thing for me every day is to put the oxygen mask on me first.”

And when it comes to how she tackles each day, she likes to keep things routine:

“I like to go to bed at about 10 p.m. and I wake up around 5 and make sure that I have my meditation. I like to have lukewarm water with a little lemon and Celtic salt. Then I do my stretches, which I call my asana, for about 15 minutes, then 15 minutes of meditation. Then I walk my dog, feed my dog and then my day starts.”

What a nice morning ritual! You need that sort of thing to combat that chaos that ensues with daily life. Especially when you’re all on your own! Well, besides the team of help she probably has waiting in the wings. LOLz! She also noted that it’s equally as important to “live in a state of gratitude.” After all, it offers “protection” for her life — especially through the bumps in the road like, say, divorce. She told the outlet:

“We can look at things like, why is this happening to me? I believe we are here because we all have something to learn and to evolve and to grow. When I look back, the biggest, most challenging experiences in my life were all happening for me. They showed me that I was stronger than I thought I was.”

Co-parenting comes with its challenges, but it sounds like Gisele and Tom are making it work. TBH, some honey from her new love Joaquim Valente probably helps to make things a bit sweeter, too. Ha!!
