We’re still a little verklempt over that song Darren Criss sang to Chris Colfer last night on Glee. As we watched the BOYFRIENDS pledge their love for each other, we just wanted to pause and drink in the moment, because if we know anything about Ryan Murphy…we know this won’t last!

Last night, Darren was hand to support his gleeky costar, Chris, at the Time 100 Gala in New York (you knew that Chris made Time magazine’s 100 most influential people, right) and he got to talking about the future of his character Blaine on the show. He admitted that Blaine and Kurt are in a “honeymoon phase” right now, but that that probably won’t last into next season. He explained:
“They’re together and I think it’s going to be rainbows and sunshine for quite a while then we’ll see what happens in season three. Ryan said if and when they got together that he wanted it to be as flawed and as delicate as anybody’s relationship, so I think we’ll run into that, but we won’t know until next season.”
Nooo! Why?! What?! Why?! What happened to “I’ll never say goodbye to you?” or whatever Kurt said last night???
True, we want the show to grow organically and be realistic – but please don’t crap out on this storyline sooner rather than later.
