And that might be a good thing.
Sources are reporting that Glee producers are rethinking their initial plan to do a tribute episode following the Superbowl this year. It had been reported that the show was considering paying homage to either Bruce Springsteen or Michael Jackson, but now, Ryan Murphy & Co. maybe leaning toward staging a “regular” episode.
There are pros and cons to this strategy, but for the most part, we kind of agree with keeping this status quo rather than stunt heavy. For one thing, the episode is bound to have it’s biggest audience to date with this show, so it has to be GOOD.
What would be great is if the show went back to what it was in those original 13 episodes and really focused on the heart of the show: the misfits of Glee club. We all already know we love Madonna and The Boss. Let’s remember why we love Rachel, Finn, Mercedes, Kurt and friends!
