While we’re sure Miley Cyrus didn’t mean to start a war, the celebrity feud between her and Sinead O’Connor is still ongoing, and it looks like Sinead has received a powerful ally!
Gloria Steinem, one of the most influential feminists of all time, has weighed in on this transatlantic tiff:
“I think they├óΓé¼Γäóre disagreeing on substance. I think they have different views of the world, and I would much rather be O├óΓé¼ΓäóConnor. I mean, she├óΓé¼Γäós a serious human being. Perhaps they both are, but we don├óΓé¼Γäót know that yet. But you have to remember that Sinead├óΓé¼Γäós background ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ she├óΓé¼Γäós been sexually abused. She was courageous in pointing out sexual abuse by the Catholic church. I├óΓé¼Γäóm sure it does pain her to see a young woman being oblivious to the endangerment of sexuality.”

This seems to be war of ideas rather than just a mere war of words and pointing the foam finger of blame!
Perhaps both sides should twerk out their differences in person, and not through open letters and Twitter?!
