Last night, we fell deeply in love with the best fifteen minutes of television history.*
As the show that New York Magazine once called the “BEST. SHOW. EVER.” came to a close, the identity of the mistress behind the New York elite’s biggest secrets was finally revealed.
And oooo was it satisfying!!
Hoping for something with less plot holes, we shed our light away from the thoughts swirling around on who the REAL mystery writer turned out to be.
But alas… a main character it turned out to be indeed!

We admit we’ve already begun our re-watching of the series to spot plot holes with *SPOILER* Dan being Gossip Girl, but this finish was too flawless for us not to fill insanely satisfied.
And we have to admit we like the theory behind the reveal. A man earning his public persona through writing about the elite?? We can totally relate. 😉
Now… we know some of you insisted it had to be Kristen Bell, but we think her cameo with Rachel Bilson was perfectly classic!
AND STFU… MAYOR BLOOMBERG MADE A CAMEO TOO! AHH!
As for the final couplings, *SPOILER* Derena’s wedding had our eyes wetter than the Kate Winslet on the Titanic!
BUT COULDN’T YA HAVE GIVEN US ONE MORE KISS, GUYS? C’MON!!
Moving along! Little baby Henry Bass was just perezcious! Such a dashing young image of father Chuck! We do wish Blair could have popped out a mini-B too, but hey gurl… you know your body better than we do!
Speaking of bodies, did anyone else wonder WTF was going on when Lisa Loeb‘s lovely little self wound up with Rufus? LOL!!
(Lily wound up with William… boring.)
And of course Georgina ended up with Jack Bass (not Bart… eww). A match made in criminal heaven. We bet their sex life is intense!!
Surely just as wild as Ivy turning into a best-selling author! Her film turned into a movie starring Hilary Duff and Lola Rhodes too! Did ya catch that!?!
But that wasn’t the only surprising pairing… Little J‘s shopping bag revealed that she and Blair shook hands in business with J and Waldorf designs. Love it!!
And last but not least… Nate totally has our vote for NYC mayor.
SIGH… WHAT A SHOW, LOVAHS! WHAT A SHOW!
