Groupon just wrapped up a wildly successful fundraiser for the national hunger organization Feeding America.
The online deal site offered consumers the chance to give $22 to the charity by only handing over $11 after Pepsi offered match every donation up to $250,000.
The campaign was hoping to receive a modest 200 donations, but thanks to the generosity of both Pepsi and everyday Americans, over 5,000 charity deals were purchased by the time it closed on Sunday evening!
That’s a lot of food for a lot of families who will need it this Holiday season.
