Is Liz Rosenberg gonna get a talking-to today?
Earlier this week, Madonna‘s long-time rep released a statement to the Associated Press saying that Guy Ritchie would be receiving a divorce settlement of more than $76 million, which includes property and artwork. This is after Ritchie allegedly asked for nothing in the divorce except for access to his sons.
Well now a joint statement from Madonna and Guy is denying (sorta) Rosenberg’s earlier claims.
It reads:
“We have tried to maintain a dignified silence regarding the details of our divorce for the last few months whilst accepting the obvious media interest.
A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to AP this week.
The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement.
Our primary concern, like any co-parents, is the care and well being of our children.”
The details of the children’s residencies are yet to be hammered out, although it looks like the boys will be spending the holidays with their father, where Ricthie is supposedly planning on spoiling the kiddies with such simple Madonna-banned luxuries as television and candy.
Meanwhile, Her Madgesty will be closing shop on her Sticky & Sweet world tour in December, raking in the most moolah ever earned by a solo female artist on tour.
