With Rent no longer playing, Broadway will soon be welcoming a new revival at Times Square’s Nederlander Theatre.
Frank Loesser’s Guys and Dolls is set to return to the Great White Way, with Tony and Emmy nominee Oliver Platt in the lead role of Nathan Detroit.
The show will start performances on February 3rd, 2009 and will open officially on March 1st.
Other cast members have not yet been announced, but we’re hearing hottie Cheyenne Jackson will be part of the revival.
Let’s hope this one lives up to the former shows.
