Only 6 days after announcing the “conscious uncoupling” breakup with her husband of 10 years, Chris Martin, news of Gwyneth Paltrow‘s grandmother’s passing rocked the family on March 31st.
Dorothy Paltrow, Gwynnie’s paternal grandma, passed away at her home in Palm Beach, Florida last Monday, alongside family and friends.
As you know Gwyneth, Chris, Apple, and Moses were in the Bahamas to escape from prying paparazzi eyes post-split.
So we’re hoping the family made a stop in Florida to be with their grieving relatives – especially since it’s only a hop, skip, and plane ride from where they were staying.
Dorothy is survived by her children Robert and Fran, and she has five grandchildren.
The Paltrow family is in our thoughts.
