Gwyneth Paltrow Sued For $3.1 Million Over Alleged Hit-And-Run Ski Accident!

gwyneth paltrow skiing crash lawsuit

Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t stop until she reaches her goals — which is allegedly bad news for anyone who gets in her way on the bunny slopes.
The 46-year-old actress has been slapped with a $3.1 million lawsuit by a man in Utah who claims she severely injured him in a “hit-and-run ski crash” on February 26, 2016.
According to the suit, Gwynny was taking a lesson with instructor Eric Christiansen at the skiers-only resort of Deer Valley in the Park City area of Utah when the incident occurred.
The lawsuit claims that the Oscar winner was skiing “out of control” on the beginner’s green run and slammed into the man from behind, “knocking him down hard, knocking him out, and causing a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries.”

Rather than apologize or acknowledge the crash, the suit further claims that “Paltrow got up, turned and skied away, leaving [the man] stunned, lying in the snow.” It goes on to allege that Gwynny’s instructor then blamed the man for the collision and “failed to send help, as he was obligated to do, and later filed a false report to protect his client.”
The lawsuit is seeking $3.1 million in damages and attorney’s fees. It names Gwyneth, the instructor, the Deer Valley Resort Company, and two unnamed employees as defendants.
A rep for the actress told Fox News that the lawsuit is “completely without merit and we expect to be vindicated.”
We feel it’s worth mentioning that the above photo of Gwyn was shared on her Instagram in 2015, and includes the hashtag “#ididntbreakanything” in the caption.
