The mystery aspect of this fashion collab is a mystery no more!!
Almost a week after teasing their super secret project, Gwyneth Paltrow and Stella McCartney are not only showing off their new pieces, but also discussing what the capsule collection is all about!
In essence, the two put together a set of basics for Goop subscribers and aimed to create timeless pieces that could last for generations.
Gwynnie explained:
“I have this start-up, Goop, and I have a strong idea of what I want it to be. I went to Stella and asked if she would collaborate with me. She never had done a collaboration like this before until I strong-armed her. She├óΓé¼Γäós the most insanely amazing designer.”
Stella added:
“We sat down and talked about it a lot and it was very considered. The outcome is designs that are very timeless. In order to create pieces that are effortless, it├óΓé¼Γäós very considered. Gwyneth was a huge part of that. This is a big reflection of her life.”
The effortless pieces include a knit jumpsuit, classic blazer, velvet and denim pants, wool trousers, and three colors of McCartney’s Beckett handbag.
As for the price? It should come as no surprise that the collection STARTS at $795!!!
DAYUM!
Hopefully if the Stella and Gwyneth team up again, and they already said they want to, they’ll create something more affordable!
