Hailey Bieber is doing a little damage control!
As we wrote, quite a few Taylor Swift fans were pissed after the model and her husband Justin Bieber reenacted that hilarious post-surgery banana video on Instagram Live on Monday night, seemingly mocking the Shake It Off singer.

ICYMI, the funny clip, which featured the 29-year-old in quite the state after a LASIK eye procedure, was first shared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. After it aired, Justin and Hailey recorded themselves having a good laugh over a line where Tay says, “That wasn’t the one I wanted” in reference to her fruity treat.
Hours after the couple’s controversial moment went viral, the 22-year-old shared an inspiring Bible verse to her Instagram Story, which appeared to reference the backlash from Swifties.
The former Miz Baldwin posted a passage from the book of Psalm, as you can see (below):
“How wonderful, how beautiful, when brothers and sisters get along! It’s like costly anointing oil flowing down head and beard, Flowing down Aaron’s beard, flowing down the collar of his priestly robes. It’s like the dew on Mount Hermon flowing down the slopes of Zion. Yes, that’s where God commands the blessing, ordains eternal life. Psalm 133:1-3.”
It sounds like Hailey wants everyone to just get along! And, she isn’t afraid to use her Christian faith to send a message about it.
It’s unclear if the sentiment is only directed to the Blank Space crooner’s fan base or inclusive to her husband and Taylor, too. As you surely know by now, Justin and the songstress still appear to have bad blood after Bieber publicly defended and sided with Scooter Braun after the producer purchased Big Machine Records, and thus, Swift’s entire music catalogue.
Maybe it’s time for everyone to cool off and put the past behind them!
Plus, these two just got married (again)! Shouldn’t they be basking in that newlywed bliss and avoiding the drama anyway??
Either way, this response is a lot less hostile than the one the Calvin Klein model initially had after critics slammed the clip created with her husband. At one point, Alec Baldwin‘s niece couldn’t hold her tongue and replied to a user on Twitter, saying:
“I never knew I could make somebody so upset.. truly I’m so sorry you’re THIS upset?! Lord have mercy I hope I’m never this upset about someone I don’t know!!” https://t.co/tNL7bGnRkF

In more since-deleted tweets, the starlet continued:
“Listen. I think it’s awesome how passionate you are and how hard you ride for someone you’re a fan of, it’s beautiful how dedicated you are. If there’s something I did to personally hurt or offend you I’m sorry, it’s not my intention to upset you by any means.”
She reportedly added:
“But being angry at someone you don’t know does nothing for you. I know cause I been there.. all it’s gonna do is make you miserable. Don’t let ME of all people get you feeling that way. Trust me, I’m not worth the energy, nobody should be worth that energy!”
