Last night, Queer As Folk actor Hal Sparks saved a life!
Sources on the scene say that Hal had just touched down into LAX when an elderly man of 60 or 70 collapsed in the Delta terminal. Hal quickly went to the man’s aid and started performing CPR. He gave mouth-to-mouth, while another woman performed chest compressions.
Once the medics arrived, they took over, but we’re sure Hal was a great deal of help to the man.
After the incident, Hal tweeted to his followers what happened:
“Just did CPR for the 3rd time in my life. What a night … When they took him away he was breathing on his own … Hope he makes it.
Everybody NEEDS to take a CPR class. Out of 200 people only 2 of us new CPR … okay enough preaching … I need a nap.”
You take that nap, boy! You helped save a life! You deserve it!
Seriously, a very commendable thing Hal did! We’re proud of you, bb!
