Halle Berry‘s baby bump was a surprise not only to her, but to everyone involved on her upcoming movie X-Men: Days Of Future Past!
When the Storm actress showed up on set carrying a stowaway, producers had to quickly scramble for a way to conceal her pregnancy on camera! But as Halle explains, there’s only so many ways you can adjust the lights before a pregnancy becomes impossible to hide! Halle said:
“My ever-growing belly was posing a constant challenge! What I could do was getting more limited so the role that I play is so different from what it could have been, due to my surprise pregnancy. I wasn’t in as much as I was meant to be.”
Ohhh, thanks a lot, baby!!! Way to ruin the movie!!!

We’re super bummed that we’ll be seeing less of Halle saving the world. But life isn’t fun without a few surprises along the way!
And it sounds like there’s going to be a BIG ‘OL STORM of surprises for Halle’s character in the next X-Men installment! Prepare to be teased mutant fans, as Ms. Berry had this to share about what we can expect to see next year:
“There’s something very revealing and shocking about Storm in this movie that I thought was needed. There are some things you find out about her that I think give you much more insight into who she is.”
