Halle Berry Slams Ex-Husband's Claim That He Was A Sex Addict!

Halle Berry is calling “bulls**t” on her ex’s claim that he was a “sex addict.”

The Never Let Go star appeared on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast on Monday and RIPPED into something her ex-husband told her years ago — which she hasn’t believed for one second! Without naming names, the 58-year-old told the podcast host:

“I had one husband who said he was a sex addict but I don’t f**king believe that s**t.”

And just to make her disbelief all the more clear, the X-Men star added through laughter, “That’s some bulls**t.” HA!

While Halle didn’t name the ex-husband in question, it’s widely believed that Eric Benét, to whom she was married from 2001 to 2005, went to rehab in 2002 for a sex addiction. In 2005, he admitted to extra-marital affairs in an interview with People — but claimed he never had “sexual intercourse” while with the Oscar winner. He told the outlet:

“We all know I cheated. It was out there. It’s a betrayal. But I never did have sexual intercourse with anyone while I was with Halle. Going into rehab was presented to me by her mother that in order for the marriage to have a shot, this is what you need to do.”

However, he denied being a “sex addict” at the time:

“But I’m not a sex addict. I wanted to save my marriage and do anything necessary to do that. I went and heard other people’s stories and realized this is really not my struggle.”

Poor Halle! In addition to Eric, she was married to David Justice from 1993 to 1997, and Oliver Martinez from 2013 to 2016, with whom she welcomed son Maceo. She also dated Gabriel Aubry from 2005 to 2010, and welcomed daughter Nahla with him. But now, she seems happier than ever with current boyfriend Van Hunt, with whom she’s been involved since 2020. She told Dax on the podcast:

“We celebrated when we hit four years like we had been married 20 years, that’s how big it was for me personally.”
