Hannah Kobayashi Breaks Silence After Returning To The US -- Read Her BAFFLING Statement!

Father Of Missing Woman Who Missed Flight & Sent Family Strange Texts Found Dead While Searching For Her

Hannah Kobayashi is FINALLY speaking out!

Last week, the formerly “missing” Hawaii woman made contact with her family after vanishing in November. As we know, after weeks, and weeks, and WEEKS of tireless search efforts, the Los Angeles Police Department discovered that after mysteriously missing her connecting flight from LA to New York and halting communication with her loved ones, she made her way to the US-Mexico border and crossed on foot. But like we said, her mom Brandi Yee and sister Sydni Kobayashi were able to get in contact with her, and on Monday, LAPD Lieutenant Doug Oldfield revealed she safely crossed back into the US over the weekend — and officially closed her missing persons case.

We’ve heard a lot about her, but what about from her? Well, she’s now speaking out.

In a statement issued to People via her aunt Larie Pidgeon, the 30-year-old explained:

“At daybreak on December 15th, I crossed the border back into the United States. My focus now is on my healing, my peace and my creativity. I am deeply grateful to my family and everyone who has shown me kindness and compassion during this time.”

“Creativity”?? She obviously needs to do what she needs to do to heal, but that’s certainly an inneresting and sorta cryptic thing to say she needs to focus on after stirring up so much drama and heartache over the past month.

Referencing the national news story following her case, Hannah added:

“I was unaware of everything that was happening in the media while I was away, and I am still processing it all. I kindly ask for respect for myself, my family, and my loved ones as I navigate through this challenging time. Thank you for your understanding.”

Challenging to say the least… As we know, Hannah’s father Ryan Kobayashi sadly died by suicide while searching for her. And on top of that, she was allegedly wrapped up in a marriage visa scam prior to disappearing off the radar which may have been part of the reason she dropped off the face of the Earth to begin with… So to say she has a lot on her plate would be an understatement.

What are your reactions to Hannah’s first official statement since being found, Perezcious readers?? Is it what you would have expected? Let us know in the comments down below!
