Gypsy Rose Blanchard Says Her Convicted Ex Had Murder Fantasies & Found The Idea 'Arousing'

We continue to learn more disturbing things from Gypsy Rose Blanchard‘s memoir.

Released last Tuesday, her tell-all book My Time To Stand offers a series of unsettling recollections of the now-33-year-old’s childhood growing up in Missouri alongside her mom Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. As Perezcious readers know, Dee Dee was found dead from multiple stab wounds in June of 2015. Gypsy Rose and her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn were later arrested for the killing.

GRB eventually pled guilty to second-degree murder after it came out that she’d been a victim of Munchhausen by proxy syndrome and falsely paraded around as a sickly child for years at the hands of her mother prior to Dee Dee’s murder. Godejohn, meanwhile, was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison. Gypsy Rose has since served her sentence and been released. And now her much-anticipated memoir is on store shelves nationwide.

In it, she recalled meeting Godejohn on a Christian dating site back in 2012, after which the duo escalated their communication into an explicit relationship. Writing about how quickly Nick allegedly introduced her to a world of “sexually perverse things,” Gypsy Rose recalled:

“Nick exposed me to a lot of sexually perverse things and ideas, but 10 years later, knowing now what I know about sex, he taught me all wrong. From what I’ve read, he didn’t have an accurate idea of BDSM [bondage, discipline, submission, and masochism], and he made it up as we went along.”

She recounted disturbing instances in which he would also “threaten” to pull his love away from her if she didn’t do what he wanted her to do sexually:

“The more he praised me for a ‘good job,’ after sucking on a dildo he had ordered from Japan, the more I believed he loved me. Of course, when I would do the videos ‘wrong,’ e.g., forgetting to call him ‘master’ or not being a dirty enough girl, he’d threaten to pull that love away.”

Jeez…

But by far, the most disturbing aspect of their relationship was what Gypsy Rose claimed were Nick’s elaborate fantasies in which he said that he “lived amongst 12 alien soulmates of different species.” Most notable of the characters in Godejohn’s fictitious universe, per her account, was a 3,000-year-old vampire named Victor who Nick claimed to Gypsy Rose had a thirst for “rape and murder.”

And that came about in addition to plenty of other strange sexual requests Nick allegedly heaped upon Gypsy Rose — including demands that she rub peanut butter or barbecue sauce on her breasts, and act out “unusual sexual behaviors with phallic objects.”

Things all came to a head after they met in person and began to discuss the possibility of living together in Nick’s home state of Wisconsin. Soon after that, Gypsy recalled in the memoir, the young couple began juggling an idea to kill Dee Dee in order to remain together:

“We felt like our relationship was on the brink of collapse. We believed we’d tried everything to be together, and now it was a matter of taking extreme measures.”

Clarifying how those convos came up, Gypsy Rose wrote that they were “gradual,” and had been “baked into an elaborate fantasy world” involving Victor and other made-up characters created by Nick. And even creepier than that was her assertion that he apparently “got sexually aroused” when topics like rape and murder came up:

“It wasn’t one discussion like, ‘OK, how do we get rid of your mom?’ They were gradual conversations that were baked into an elaborate fantasy world Nick created. He shared with me that he got sexually aroused when he fantasized about murdering and then raping his ex-girlfriend, but our plot was more reminiscent of a soap opera.”

OMG…

Gypsy Rose’s memoir then recounted how Nick supposedly used his 3,000-year-old vampire alter ego to set the murder plot in motion:

“And then I made the suggestion [of murder], to which Nick said, ‘Victor can do it. But you need to be the one to beg him.'”

WTF?!

In the end, they eventually agreed on a “contract” in which Godejohn — er, uh, his alter ego Victor — would kill Dee Dee and then sexually assault Gypsy Rose. Trying to make sense of that disturbing moment, GRB wrote in the memoir:

“What was in Nick’s brain? I don’t know for sure, but it felt like I was being used to help him live out this fantasy as if he was playing around with characters that he created in his mind or in a video game. And some of them were evil killers, and maybe it might be fun for him to play around with that darker side of life. Were we using each other?”

In the end, of course, Nick is serving out the rest of his life in prison — while Gypsy Rose continues to promote her memoir amid her current lead-up to giving birth to her first child. Reactions, y’all? Share ’em in the comments down (below)…
