Harvard Men's Soccer Team Suspended After Discovery Of Misogynistic Tradition! Find Out What They Were Doing To Female Players!

no title
Even the country’s brightest young minds can do the most brutish sh*t.
That was confirmed by a recent scandal at Harvard University, which suspended its entire men’s soccer team after discovering players had a ranking system for members of the women’s team.
The team, ranked first in the Ivy League, was suspended for the rest of the season after the student newspaper unearthed the “appalling” document, which included ratings of the female players’ attractiveness and sexually explicit comments.

In what seems to be a yearly tradition, the documents featured pictures of the female athletes with their hotness rating — using the traditional scale of 1-10 — and providing reasons for their decisions.
The report also noted which sexual positions they thought each woman would prefer.
According to the Harvard Crimson newspaper, the documents date back to 2012, and were publicly accessible through a former team’s Google Group. An investigation found that the annual ranking had continued to the current season.
In a statement, University President Drew Faust wrote she was “deeply distressed to learn that the appalling actions of the 2012 men’s soccer team were not isolated to one year or the actions of a few individuals.”

Though noting canceling a whole season is “serious and consequential,” Faust said the team’s offensive behavior has no place at the prestigious institution, concluding:

“The decision to cancel a season is serious and consequential, and reflects Harvard’s view that both the team’s behavior and the failure to be forthcoming when initially questioned are completely unacceptable, have no place at Harvard, and run counter to the mutual respect that is a core value of our community.”

The team will forfeit its remaining games and will decline any opportunity to achieve an Ivy League championship or to participate in the NCAA Tournament this year.
While some may think this is simply “locker room talk” or boys being boys (we’re looking at you, Melania Trump) — this comes at a time when rape culture on college campuses is still a huge problem in the country.
That being said, we applaud the university for setting an example that behavior of this sort will not be tolerated whatsoever!
